The Library is mainly supporting the researchers, guest researchers, and students at NERI.

The library is part of the Danish National Library Consortium which co-operates on e.g. buying licences to electronic journals, databases etc. The consortium consists of University Libraries and governmental/non-profit research institutes.

NERI's database of publications is part of the library activity. The database contains references to all scientific -, consultancy - and popular publications as well as conference presentations of NERI staff. Many of NERI’s reports can be downloaded free of charge.
