The Department of Marine Ecology is managed by Bo Riemann, Director of Research Department, Peter Henriksen, Senior Scientist and Henrik Fossing, Senior Scientist.

The Department of Marine Ecology is divided into 4 forums:

Forum 1 - Arctic marine ecology, climate changes and stress factors

Forum 2 - The resources of the sea, biological production, biodiversity and habitats
