How to get to NERI/Silkeborg
You can reach NERI by plane + limousine taxi, car, train + taxi/bus from central Silkeborg.
Plane + limousine taxi
The nearest airport is Karup. The limousine taxi should be booked in advance, for instance when you book your plane ticket. The drive from the airport to NERI takes ca. 40 minutes, the price is about 200 Danish kroner, one way. The direct phone number to the limousine taxi service is: +45-86 80 60 60.
Car
If arriving by car, you will find NERI in the southern part of Silkeborg. From Søndre Ringvej (the southern ring road) turn down Frederiksberggade and look for the sign indicating "Danmarks Miljøundersøgelser" (=NERI).
Train + taxi
Go by train to Skanderborg and change to a regional train to Silkeborg. Alternatively, there are two daily express train directly from Copenhagen to Silkeborg. From Silkeborg Station it takes 5 min. to reach NERI by taxi (10-15 min. if you walk).
