NERI’s activities

NERI assesses the environmental impact of chemical substances – incl. nanomaterials – miroorganisms and GMOs. We research in sustainable biotechnology, and research in and provide advice on human exposure to chemicals and microorganisms present in the environment. We study the effects of organic and conventional agriculture, and study the effects of acidification, eutrophication, climate change and other stressors. Finally, we work to develop environmentally sensitive methods of pest control.
