Inaugural lecture by research professor D.Sc. Rune Dietz

Since the 1st of November 2009, D.Sc. Rune Dietz has been appointed as research professor at the Department of Arctic Environment, National Environmental Research Institute at Aarhus University. In the coming years he shall conduct research regarding the ecology of marine mammals and impacts of contaminants and other antropogenic effetcs on their populations in Arctic and temperate waters.

On that occasion, he will give an inaugural lecture with the title: 'Marine mammals: an integrated assessment of human-induced threats'.

The lecture will take place in the Niels Bohr Auditorium, Risø, on Friday 22nd of January 2010, 2 p.m.

After the lecture, there will be a reception in the hall of the auditorium.
