On these pages you find the Danish air emission inventories.

The inventories are updated annually and this version contains the air emission data from 1980 to 2007. The inventories for 2008 will be finished by the end of 2009 and will be published on this web page in the spring 2010.

In the introduction you can read about the background for the work and the Danish obligations to report to international conventions and EU.

The main part of the emissions is estimated by means of activity rates and emission factors. You find the emissions factors used in the calculation of the emissions here.

You can read about the sources of emissions of greenhouse gases and air pollutants and see the trends in greenhouse gas emissions.

The official emission reports to UNFCCC, UNECE and EU including emission data can be seen at EUs Eionet server. The emission reports to UNFCCC and UNECE are also released in the NERI Technical Report series.
