| The sphere of the Department of Policy Analysis is the connection between the activities in society and the derived impacts on the environment and nature. The Department contributes through a cross-disciplinary environment to the knowledge basis for the environmental policy through strategic research and research-based policy advice. The Department has as a surveillance obligation to calculate and report on the Danish emissions to the atmosphere. The Department consists of approximately 45 employees, which are organised in a staff group and three sections around Environmental Social Sciences, Emissions, Sustainability and Risk Assessments, and Environmental Geography. The research and counselling of the department are concentrated within four areas, which are either sector specific, dealing with specific environmental topics or technical problems and methods: |
