AirBase is a public air quality database containing air quality monitoring information for more than 30 participating countries throughout Europe. There is access to statistics as well as raw data. This service is offered by the European Environment Agency.

EMEP is a comprehensive European monitoring programme for studies of transboundary air pollution.
EuroAirnet is the name for a network of monitoring stations which delivers results to the European Environment Agency.

New organisation
As per 1 July 2011 the National Environmental Research Institute (NERI) has been closed down. The research activities are now gathered at the Department of Bioscience and the Department of Environmental Science. In the future, consultancy services to authorities etc. will be provided by the DCE - Danish Centre for Environment and Energy on the basis of input from these two and other Aarhus University departments.
