STANDAT

STANDAT is a standard for electronic data exchange within the environmental area. Having a standard ensures a safe and easy exchange of data between the parties that collect and use the data. In addition, STANDAT ensures that every variable and parameter used can be clearly identified. The STANDAT code lists can be used for free. 

The STANDAT code lists are updated twice a year. The updated code lists can be found in the STANDAT library.

New organisation

As per 1 July 2011 the National Environmental Research Institute (NERI) has been closed down. The research activities are now gathered at the Department of Bioscience and the Department of Environmental Science. In the future, consultancy services to authorities etc. will be provided by the DCE - Danish Centre for Environment and Energy on the basis of input from these two and other Aarhus University departments.
