Master in Environmental and Energy Law (MEEL)

MEEL is a two-year part-time degree program designed to give professionals working within the environmental and energy areas or with questions relating to these areas a thorough introduction to environmental and energy law and to selected environmental and energy related issues within economics and political science.

The aim is to provide the students with an increased understanding of the legal, political and economical frames enabling them to apply the often complex rules and legal principles, develop strategies etc.

MEEL is offered in cooperation between professors and researchers from four Danish universities: University of Aarhus; Aarhus School of Business; University of Southern Denmark; the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University. In addition, Houston University and Georgia State University contributes to the international module.

Since 2006, the two-year MEEL programme has admitted app. 20 participants every second year.
