Del |

Åbent hus: Demonstration i laboratoriet, november 2010

Thursday 19 May 2011, 13.30-16.00, Roskilde. Come and hear about opportunities for writing your Bachelor project or Master's thesis in one of NERI’s departments. Be shown around, and meet a potential supervisor if you already have an idea for a topic.

2011.05.19

If you are interested in environment and nature, then a Master's thesis or Bachelor student placement in one of NERI’s departments is worth considering. At NERI you have the opportunity of carrying out your project within one of our priority focus areas. In this way you can help with mapping the scale of a current environmental problem – or maybe propose a solution. Your project can thereby help make a difference.

What can I write a Master's thesis on in NERI?

  • Contaminant fingerprints in the internal organs of wild animals
  • Use of air pollution models to assess effects on plants and humans
  • Benthic crustaceans as indicators of environmental reproductive impacts
  • Brominated flame retardants in plastic
  • Further development of economic models for analysing the consequences of pesticide regulation for nature and biodiversity

Take a look at the many possibilities in our various departments. It may also be possible to write your Bachelor project – ask about opportunities here in the relevant department.

If you have an idea for a project within one of our work areas you are very welcome to contact the relevant department or project leader.

You can also apply for a Master's thesis placement in one of the projects NERI is currently involved in.

Registration

We would like to receive registrations by 17 May at the latest so we can plan the tours as well as possible.

Please write to Annette Johansen, arjo@dmu.dk, stating which departments you would like to visit - the programme is repeated so you have the option of visiting two departments. Please also mention if you already have an idea for a project that you would like to talk with a potential supervisor about - we will then try to arrange a meeting.

You have the option of visiting these five departments:
