The sectors that most affect nature and the environment are agriculture, energy and transport. For example, combined these three sectors account for 80 percent of Danish emissions of carbon dioxide.

NERI works with environmental economics, sociology, integrated analysis of environment and society, and integrated assessment of chemicals. Every fourth year we prepare an overall State-of-the-Environment report.
