On these pages you find informations on the Danish air emission inventories.

The inventories are updated annually and this version contains the air emission data from 1980 to 2009. The inventories for 2010 will be finished and published on this web page in the spring 2012.

In the introduction you can read about the background for the work and the Danish obligations to report to international conventions and EU.

The main part of the emissions is estimated by means of activity rates and emission factors. You find the emissions factors used in the calculation of the emissions here.

You read about the the reporting sectors and sources of emissions of greenhouse gases and air pollutants and see the trends in greenhouse gas emissions.

The official emission reports to UNFCCC, UNECE and EU including emission data can be seen at EUs Eionet Central Data Repository. Reportings to the Kyoto Protocol can be found at UNFCCCs homepage. The emission reports to UNFCCC and UNECE are also released in the NERI Technical Report series.
