Guidelines for submission of Abstracts

Participants are invited to submit abstracts for poster presentations until July 5. Please submit them as attachments to e-mails to one of the organisers. We can handle attachments saved as an ASCII file (text file) or a MS-word or Wordperfect file.

Deadline for submission of abstracts

The original deadline was April 23, 2001, but it is still possible to submit abstracts for poster presentations until July 5.

You will be notified whether your abstract is accepted as soon as possible and before July 18.

Layout of Abstracts

When printed, the abstract should fit within a frame 12 cm long and 16 cm wide. The layout of your abstract should be as follows:

• TITLE in capital letters at the top of the page
  
• Author/s (First name and/or initials followed by surname).
  The name of the person giving the presentation should be mentioned first and underlined
  
• Addresses (Institution, Department, Country)
  
• Text with paragraphs indented, omitting credits and grant support
  
• Font 12 point Times New Roman, and the text should be single-spaced.
  Use italics for Latin names of species.
