Workshop on Deposition and Surface Exchange

April 11-12, 1996 in Roskilde, Denmark

This workshop is organized jointly by the National Environmental Research Institute (NERI) and the Risø National Laboratory (RISØ) in collaboration with the Danish Centre of Atmospheric Research (DCAR). It will take place at the H.H. Koch auditorium at the Risø National Laboratory.

The aim of the workshop is to open up discussion and exchange of ideas between specialists in deposition research. During the two days, we hope
Bullet to give an overview of present Danish research activities on atmosphere surface exchange
Bullet to identify key areas and questions for different ecosystems for future research and potential collaborators
Bullet to expand international collaboration in the Danish research effort in surface exchange.
The workshop will highlight discussions and therefore the presentations are seen as informal introductions to the following discussions and as inputs to the working group discussions on the second day of the workshop.
A rapporteur and a chairman are appointed for each session.
This workshop is a part of a joint project to assess the present state of international environmental observation research and technology, and to identify future demands that build on expertise in the Roskilde area.

As part of the project several international workshops are held in Roskilde in the spring of 1996.
