Workshop on Deposition and Surface Exchange

April 11-12, 1996 in Roskilde, Denmark

This is a brief description of the workshop.

The aim of the workshop is to open up discussion and exchange of ideas between specialists in deposition research. During the two days, we hope

to give an overview of present Danish research activities on atmosphere surface exchange
to identify key areas and questions for different ecosystems for future research and potential collaborators
to expand international collaboration in the Danish research effort in surface exchange.

The workshop will highlight discussions and therefore the presentations are seen as informal introductions to the following discussions and as inputs to the working group discussions on the second day of the workshop.

A rapporteur and a chairman are appointed for each session.
The workshop language is English.

This workshop is a part of a joint project to assess the present state of international environmental observation research and technology, and to identify future demands that build on expertise in the Roskilde area.

As part of the project several international workshops are held in Roskilde in the spring of 1996.

A registration form is available.

Last day for pre-registration is March 15, 1996. A detailed program is going to be sent to the registred persons.
A fee of DKK 550.- has to be paid for the Workshop. The DKK 550.- includes: abstracts, lunch, dinner and coffee.

Generel information

The Workshop will take place in H.H. Koch Auditorium at Risų National Laboratory. Accommodation can be arranged either at Risų Guesthouses or in Roskilde (20 min. by bus). A detailed map will be mailed to the participants.
