Nature Quality in Organic Farming

Study Areas

The project has selected 10 study areas, where organic farming is more common than in the rest of the country.
The aim has been to include about 10% of all danish organic farms, to represent a broad selection of danish types of landscape spread out on a representative of danish farm types. The study area includes both 'old'(before 1994) and ’new’ relayed farms.
There is about 30 organic farms in each area and the size of the area reflects a combination of both size and closeness of the organic farms(Fig. 1).
All the organic farms (about 300) has been interviewed concerning their farm and way of managing through the year 2002 and the results is about to be analysed.
